Coveting

I just heard a great lesson on the 10th commandment. I didn't realize that it was the only covenant that was an internal commandment. It speaks mostly to heart issues where the others are "physical" for the most part.

Contentment with Godliness is great gain. - Being happy with what you have and not dwelling on what others have. Whether it's their wife, Lexus, cash or whatever. He mentioned a very good definition of coveting which I don't remember nor did I write it down. But, it was good! :-)

The one thing I noticed with this commandment is that I do struggle with coveting things. I tend to want what I want and get it when I want it. God has blessed me immensely and I tend to just waste the resources that He's given. I need to be a better steward.

Man, I love Dale Thompson. He is a great teacher of the Word.
