Recent goins on

Ever struggle with concentration? I have been a lot lately. It seems that when I have a lot to do, I try to do something but think about everything else I have to do. That has been very counterproductive for me. I recall a sayin' that goes..."don't think of ALL you have to do. Just what you are going to do now" or something like that. Man, those are easy words to type and say. I have tried to put them into practice but it's just not that easy.

I am also struggling with this Bible study that I am working on. I really have a hard time relating to the authors and their overall lack of scriptural reference. I dislike their sense of humor (maybe it's too much like mine) and their pushing of ideas that seem flawed to me. The book is called "Truefaced". Read it and let me know what you think. I am probably way off base on this one.

Mayf learnt ta ride a bike this weekend. That is until he had a funniest home video moment. Unfortunately, we weren't filming though so I won't be 10K richer. All we heard was him yelling, "I WANT TO GET OFF NOW"... as he's headed in the general direction of our parked van and suv. Next there was a loud THUMP... then:

Well, needless to say he was done. Who could blame him. He had fallen several times before but gotten right back on. He did great..he was just tired of the thumpin.
